Posted by Giselle on October 21, 2010

Knowing your audience is vital if running an online business. It can help you to target potential customers effectively and help you to ensure your business has the best chance of achieving success. The more you know about your target audience, the better you will be at developing your business for them and letting them know this too.

Even if you have been working in a certain market for a number of years, it is important to carry out regular research. Online consumer behavior, attitudes, wants and needs change over time and you must have up to date information if it is going to be useful.

You have to know what your target audience want. You must be aware of their wants and needs which are relevant to your business so you can provide them with this. Develop a credible site

Posted by Giselle on October 19, 2010

Often online small businesses focus on their limitations and often end up lowering prices rather than emphasizing the high quality of the service or product range. This insecurity will not gain business and can seriously limit the success rate of any website marketing strategies that you implement.

You must be confident that if you have fully researched your market, and are providing a high quality solution to meet a definite need, you will make sales. So don’t focus on the negatives, invest time raising your website credibility and getting relevant content on your site.

If you know your subject matter you need to start writing and publishing articles on the website. This is a great way to build credibility for your site and any authors you use. Unlike an advertisement, keeping articles impartial and offering readers sound advice and information will generate interest and repeat visitors. If you sustain it with regular update and fresh and informative content you will quickly become recognized as a great resource on that particular topic.

Start to add testimonials on the site as these comments from previous customers will again raise the credibility, but be prepared to allow potential customers to speak directly to these referees.

One way of raising the perceived value is to offer a free trial or consultation. The credibility is raised as people know you wouldn’t offer a free trial if you weren’t sure that the service or product works.

Here at www.clickconsult.com we have an expert team to help you develop winning online marketing strategies, effective PPC management

A Data Connection Library in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 is a library that can contain two kinds of data connections: an Office Data Connection (ODC) file or a Universal Data Connection (UDC) file. Microsoft InfoPath 2010 uses data connections that comply with the Universal Data Connection (UDC) file schema and typically have either a *.udcx or *.xml file name extension. Internet Goes Down for a Week

Posted by editor on July 10, 2010

The internet is such a robust, yet fragile place. A mere worm or virus can shut it down, but can easily be alleviated by an anti virus of some kind. However, something happened to the internet this week that no one thought was possible.

If you haven’t read any emails coming from India or the middle east lately maybe due to the fact that have been disconnected from the World Wide Web; it’s not because of some strict government crackdown or terrorist activity, but rather because of two damaged undersea cables in the Mediterranean.

There was disruption to 70% of the nationwide network in Egypt, and India suffered up to 60% disruption.
UK firms such as British Airways have told the BBC that call centres have been affected by the outage.
Industry experts said it could take up to one week to repair the damaged cables and resume full service.
International telephone calls, which have also been affected, are being rerouted to work around the problem.

Not to fret, as repairs are being done as we speak.

However it was a bit experimental that it didn’t affect the novelty of the experience. Using the state-of-the-art techniques to enable the actors to control the gesticulations of their on-screen avatars remotely by moving their arms up and down wherever in the world they happen to be, it was in a creation of the Globe theatre in the virtual world Second Life, where they have ambitious plans to stage the entire cycle of Shakespear’s plays eventually.
