Microsoft released an emergency patch for its operating systems. Then it publicly released a reliable exploit code. Now it is reported that there are two new worms that are capable of using the MS08-067 vulnerability. This was discovered by the virus hunters. These worms were discovered on Windows, Chinese version. The worms are used to be able to install a trojan downloader, a denial of service bot and one rootkit to be able to keep its presence undetected on the computers that are infected already. This newest threat is using the proof of concept code, which is widely available. The worms are capable of Distributed Denial of Service attacks or DDOS. Good thing Windows users that updated are not affected with these worms.
